Jesse Dunford Wood Announces Harvest Restaurant, Opening in Kensal Rise in 2023

Jesse Dunford Wood, chef-owner of Parlour and Six Portland Road, is delighted to announce that he will open Harvest in early 2023.

Opening on Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, the restaurant will take over what was previously a former favourite local and long standing curry house in the heart of the Kensal Village. Dunford Wood will turn it into a bright, light, all day restaurant serving coffee & breakfast from early morning, through to daily brunch, lunch and dinner.

The colourful, approachable, seasonal and British led menus will evolve throughout the day. Changing regularly, there will be a great emphasis on contemporary vegetarian dishes which will complement the British coastal fish, and direct-from-farm meat, with Dunford Wood having built these wonderful supplier relationships over the last 20 years of running professional kitchens in the UK.

The drinks offering will be wine led with refined cocktails and a strong non-alcoholic offering.

With almost 40 seats inside, a secret heated covered garden in the back for 30, and a front terrace, the team are hoping for Harvest to be an important part of the local community, as well as being special enough for destination dining.

Interiors will be led by Ben Masterton-Smith from Transit Studio with a focus on natural colours, lots of wood, aiming for a lived in and comfortable atmosphere. This will be alongside Hugh Dunford Wood, Jesse’s father,  wrought iron wall art.

Dunford Wood looks forward to welcoming you to Harvest which is joining the Dunford Wood restaurant family alongside Parlour, which has remarkably just celebrated its 10th year, and Six Portland Road which has now been open for 2 years.

Harvest will open in early 2023 at 68 Chamberlayne Road, Kensal Rise, London NW10 3JJ
