Dalata agrees licensing deal extension for Dublin Airport hotel

The news comes as the existing deal for the 251-bedroom Maldron Hotel at Dublin Airport was due to expire this month

Dalata Hotel Group has revealed today (3 January) that it has agreed a two-year extension of the deal it struck to operate the Maldron Hotel at Dublin Airport. 

The news comes as the existing deal for the 251-bedroom Maldron Hotel at Dublin Airport was due to expire this month.

The group, which is known for operating the Maldron and Clayton brands, recently revealed it was “optimistic” for next year and expects its full-year revenues to exceed €600m (£519.4m) for 2023 after a “record” year of growth.

The Dublin-listed group also expects to add an additional four properties to its portfolio in 2024, which will include its first hotels in Brighton and Liverpool

This will bring an additional 834 rooms to the portfolio that currently comprises 53 three and four-star hotels 11,412 rooms, of which it owns 31, leases 19 and manages three under contract.
