Daish’s Holidays nearly doubles service team amid spike in demand

Daish’s Holidays, which offers affordable UK coach holidays via its fleet of 39 coaches has served more than 100,000 customers this year across its 12 hotels

Independent family-owned hospitality group, Daish’s Holidays has strengthened the customer service team at its Bournemouth head office with six new recruits, almost doubling the team.

It said the recruitment boost comes following a recent announcement from Google at the Future of Travel Conference, where the company highlighted that searches for value holidays have skyrocketed as consumers deal with the cost-of-living crisis.

To accommodate increased demand, the new recruits join the now 15-strong customer service team as reservation advisors. The new recruits will be responsible for providing a full-service approach to customer care, from handling all phone and email enquiries to confirming travel plans and helping address any potential issues.

Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, said: “We have seen first-hand a spike in popularity for value holidays, with almost a 20% rise in Daish’s holiday bookings over the last six months compared to the same period in 2021.

“Strengthening our customer service team will allow us to continue offering high-quality support to our guests and help make their holidays with us even more memorable. We’re looking forward to another busy holiday period with a fantastic team to drive us forwards into 2023.”
