OYO launches Managed by OYO in the UK, plans to add 20 hotels

OYO currently has over 160 small hotels in over 65 cities in its network in the UK including in London, Birmingham, Torquay, Great Yarmouth and Manchester

Global hospitality technology company OYO has announced the launch of Managed by OYO.

As part of the programme, OYO, through a team of professionals, will handle all operational aspects, including guest bookings, housekeeping, maintenance, and more.

OYO currently runs five such hotels in London, Aberdeen, Sheffield, Cardiff and Bristol as a pilot of the ‘Managed by OYO’ programme.

The company is now planning to add 20 hotels in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

The scheme offers hotels a flexible term of engagement which can be as low as three years and as long as 15, with no minimum entry criteria in terms of number of rooms or category of room.

Gautam Swaroop, CEO of OYO International, said: “We commit to taking really good care of the hotel properties. Hotel owners can rest assured that the management contract terms will be fully adhered to, and the maintenance and upkeep will be impeccable, which will not just preserve, but enhance the value of the asset.”

Puneet Yadav, head of OYO UK, added: “Day to day operations, upkeep and management of a hotel can be a daunting task. Managed by OYO, our newest programme will ensure that hotel owners get return on their real estate investment and allow professionals to manage the hotel.”
