Annie Brown joins the company from Hampton by Hilton Manchester Northern Quarter

MGallery UK has announced the appointment of Annie Brown as general manager of The Municipal Hotel Liverpool. 

A well-known figure in the hotel industry, Brown brings a wealth of almost 20 years of hospitality experience to the job. 

An Australian native, Brown has a passion for travel and culture both professionally and leisurely. She has had a distinguished career as a hotelier that has taken her from Western Australia to Manchester via London, the Midlands, and Scotland. 

She joins The Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery from Hampton by Hilton Manchester Northern Quarter. Alongside her work as general manager, she is also the first chair of Manchester’s ground-breaking new Accommodation Business Improvement District (BID).

Opened in May, The Municipal Liverpool hotel is part of MGallery, Accor Group’s luxury boutique-hotel  brand, and will take residence in a Grade II listed heritage building from the mid-19th on the city’s Dale Street. 

Managed by leading hotel management company, RBH Hospitality Management, the iconic listed building spans four floors and  features 179 luxurious rooms, with considered design references throughout that pay homage to the  building’s rich heritage of French and Italian influences.  

Speaking on her appointment, Brown said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery  team and I’m looking forward to being at the helm of such a historical property and bringing my hospitality expertise to the role. The Municipal Building is an iconic landmark in Liverpool, I am excited to take the hotel to new heights and create memorable experiences for guests.”
