Sydney fine diner Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is gearing up to kick off its 2024 takeover bar series from this Sunday.
The collaboration is now in its second year and will run until September, with some of the city’s top bar talents headlining the Bondi bar from 4pm each Sunday.
“I’m super excited to be able to throw some pretty epic parties with all of our dear friends from Sydney bars,” says Bar Director Matty Opai.
“Not only am I stoked to be able to give the regulars and locals that visit each of these bars a chance to experience their flair and creativity at Bondi Beach on top of the Pacific Ocean, I’m also thrilled to give Bondi locals a taste of what these incredible bars do best.”
Ramblin Rascal is up first this week with a four-drink menu spanning the Rascals Bloody Mary; the Dive Bar Old Fashioned; the Cognac Fresh Apple; and the Porno Passions with gin, Aperol, passionfruit sorbet, and lemon.
The Icebergs kitchen is on the snacks, with this Sunday’s line-up listing plates including an LP’s mortadella panini; calamari Saint Andrea; and a Whole Beast hotdog.
The bar team from The Lobo is up next on 16 June followed by Jacoby’s on 14 July; El Primo Sanchez on 25 August; and Centro 86 on 15 September.
Walk-ins are welcome and there are limited bookings available.
